Actress Parineeti Chopra, along with her politician husband Raghav Chadha, offered prayers at the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai today (May 24).
The visit comes days after Aam Aadmi Party's Raghav Chadha's return from London after his eye surgery. Raghav Chadha had been away in London for his eye ailment, which needed immediate attention.
Parineeti was dressed in a simple anarkali, and she greeted fans and well-wishers with folded arms while walking with her husband Raghav.
Raghav also kept it simple in a white kurta pajama, and he wore dark glasses on his eyes to safeguard himself from the scorching Mumbai heat.
Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha recently underwent vitrectomy, which is an emergency eye surgery to treat a retinal hole.
This emergency medical operation was performed to prevent retinal detachment. Retinal detachment is a serious condition characterized by the formation of small holes in the retina. If left untreated, these holes can rapidly progress and lead to irreversible damage, resulting in severe vision impairment or even blindness. Prompt medical intervention is crucial to prevent further complications.
Delhi goes to the polls tomorrow (May 25), and Raghav Chaddha has also been campaigning for the AAP. He returned to India recently.
A few days ago, Parineeti had also offered prayers at the temple as a thanksgiving gesture for the love she had received for her role in 'Chamkila.' She played the role of Amarjot Kaur, who was the second wife of slain singer Amar Singh Chamkila. Both were killed by suspected militants in 1988, right before their program near Jullundhur.
