The rush in advance bookings of 'Kalki 2898 AD' has led to the crash of ticket booking platform BookMyShow in Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and Karnataka.

Kalki 2898 AD is a mythological sci-fi film directed by Nag Ashwin. It is produced by Ashwini Dutt's Vyjayanthi Movies.

Kalki's first teaser was released at San Diego Comic-Con last year, making it gain global acclaim.

A few days ago, filmmaker Karan Johar and SS Rajamouli gave a shout-out to Prabhas, Deepika, and the Big B starrer.
