Dhanush's highly anticipated third directorial, 'Idli Kadai', now has an official release date, and fans are eagerly awaiting its appearance on the silver screen.
Dhanush took to his official account on X to release a new poster for his film 'Idli Kadai' along with the release date on Friday.
In the poster, Dhanush is seen walking towards a shack, an 'idli kadai' shop named Sivanesan, with his back turned to the camera. Birds are scattered across the blue sky, and the overall setting suggests the film takes place in a village. The poster also reveals that 'Idli Kadai' will be released on April 10, 2025.

After her notable role in 'Thiruchitrambalam', which earned her a National Award, Nithya Menon is all set to collaborate with Dhanush once again.
In a recent interview with Times of India, Nithya said, "Dhanush and I constantly have these work discussions. We talk about a lot of scripts and share ideas. He’s someone who’s very passionate and creatively very energetic in that sense to do as many films as possible. It’s always great to work with people who you share good equation with and who complement each other on screen. This film is also going to be a treat for people."
“When you start doing a film you don't think – Oh, will it get me an award. I knew that it was going to be a good film and I liked the genre. It was a slice of life film, with deep emotions. It had some great performances by actors. All the actors and their performances added on to the film’s success. I could see that the makers had a vision with this project and we are seeing the success now.” Nithya concluded.
Dhanush announced the film in September by sharing a concept poster on X. The poster featured a roadside shack under a starry sky, accompanied by the caption, “#D52 #DD4 Om Namashivaaya.” 'Idli Kadai' will feature music by GV Prakash, cinematography by Kiran Koushik, and editing by Prasanna GK. Dhanush is also producing the film through his banner, Wunderbar Films, in collaboration with Aakash Baskaran's Dawn Pictures.
