Idli Kadai OTT Release Update: When and where to watch Dhanush and Nithya Menen starrer Tamil film

‘Idli Kadai' is now streaming

Dhanush and Nithya Menen starrer Idli Kadai hit the theatres on October 1 and received mixed reviews from audiences and critics. The film has already arrived on the OTT platform.

Netflix has released Idli Kadai on October 29. The official social media account of Netflix India had previously announced the Idli Kadai streaming date.

Sharing the poster, the announcement post is accompanied by the caption that reads, “An idli shop started with love can only be completed with love. Watch Idli Kadai on Netflix, out 29 October in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.”

The film revolves around an ordinary man born in a village, who shifts to Dubai to chase his dreams and for work. But after an unforeseen catastrophe, he is forced to come back to the village. He realises his value and stands for whatever his father wished for against all odds.

Dhanush stars as Murugan, Arun Vijay as Ashwin, Sathyaraj as Vishnu Varadhan, P. Samuthirakani as Marisamy, Nithya Menen as Kayal, Shalini Pandey as Meera, Rajkiran as Sivanesan, R. Parthiban as Inspector R. Arivu, Vadivukkarasi as Murugan's grandmother, Ilavarasu as Ramarajan and Geetha Kailasam as Kasturi in the film.

Wunderbar Films and Dawn Pictures are co-producing the movie, and G. V. Prakash Kumar is the composer.

Idli Kadai has been written and directed by Dhanush. The Tamil movie has been backed by Aakash Baskaran and Dhanush. Idli Kadai has been made on a budget of Rs 100 to 105 crore.

The movie collected Rs 50.33 crore net in India after 24 days of release. The film also underperformed at the worldwide box office collection stands at Rs 71.68 crore.
