Siddu Jonnalagadda, Raashi Khanna and Srinidhi Shetty's film Telusu Kada, which hit the screens recently, did not do well at the box office. The mixed reviews the film has got made an impact on the footfall. Hence, the makers have planned to prepone the OTT release of the film.
Telusu Kada's Netflix premiere was initially planned for the third week of November 2025. However, because the film did not bring large numbers in theaters on its first weekend, it is now said that the film will stream on Netflix from November 13 itself.
Salman Khan's well-known film 'Chori Chori Chupke Chupke' was a loose inspiration for Neeraja Kona's romance drama.
Kona keeps the surrogacy theme going while adding a fresh twist that changes the story's emotional dynamics by making the protagonist's ex-girlfriend a major character.
The film's protagonist is Siddhu (Siddhu Jonnalagadda) and his wife played by Raashii Khanna. When the couple discovers they are infertile and turn to surrogacy, they contact a doctor (played by Srinidhi Shetty), who also happens to be Siddhu's former lover.
The plot falters due to the hero's uneven emotional development and handling of the complex circumstance, despite the first half's successful establishment of this delicate position.
But unfortunately it could not impress the audience who felt that this story is controversial and way too bold. While a few appreciated the layered and complex character of Siddu Jonnalagadda, it did not convert into collections at the box office.
