Kim Soo-hyun's diary entries reveales new details about Kim Sae-ron dating allegations

Korean actor Kim Soo-hyun, who sparked dating controversy after Kim Sae Ron’s death, has again made headlines after his lawyer revealed some shocking details about his relationship.

According to OSEN, Kim Soo-hyun's lawyer revealed diary entries allegedly written by Kim and shown to his girlfriend during his military service in 2018 as evidence that he was not dating late actor Kim Sae-ron at the time, when she was a minor.

Soo-hyun’s lawyer, Ko Sang-rok, has claimed that Kim has made the entries in his diary during his mandatory military service from October 2017 to July 2019.

The actor reportedly started writing a diary soon after he was assigned to a unit in January 2018. Ko also claimed that the diary entries "became letters sharing daily life and heartfelt messages with his girlfriend.”

The lawyer also claimed that Kim wrote more than 150 such entries until he was discharged.

The lawyer claimed, “Kim didn't send these writings by mail because of the risk of them getting lost or stolen. Instead, he carried the collected pieces with him on every vacation and shared them directly with his lover.”

In one of the diary entries, Kim penned, “I thought you, who still pays attention to and makes an effort for my clumsy words and actions, are so lovable.”

The entry further claimed, “I really want to write your name, but I can’t because I’m such an attention seeker. I really want to write your name. I'm saying I love you.”

Meanwhile, another entry from the diary from August 3, 2018, reads, “I think I’m treating her better than I did before enlisting. I’m not using my energy on anything else — I’m focused only on her, thinking of her, wanting her, waiting for her. I keep missing her and wanting to see her.”

The lawyer also claimed that the diary entries have also proved that Kim Soo-hyun was not dating Kim Sae-ron at the time, as claimed by the late actor's family.

For the unversed, Kim Soo-hyun has been accused of dating late actress Kim Sae-ron from the end of 2015, when Kim Sae-ron was in middle school, until July 2021. Sae-ro’s also revealed a letter allegedly written by Kim Soo-hyun in June 2018 and sent to Kim Sae-ron, in which he calls her by a nickname and says he misses her.
