In a recent conversation, actress Kirti Kulhari opened up about her experience working alongside R. Madhavan and Neil Nitin Mukesh in Hisaab Barabar, now streaming on ZEE5. Known for her powerful performances, Kirti shared how the film not only pushed her as an actor but also introduced her to a fresh approach to comedy.

Reflecting on her time with R. Madhavan, Kirti expressed, “Absolutely lovely! I've really enjoyed watching Maddy as an actor all my life, and it was an absolute pleasure to share screen space with him and create the chemistry that we had in the film. He’s one of the most effortless actors—very professional, very prepared. It pushes you to meet him where he stands, and I think it's always great when someone challenges you to be better.” Kulhari's admiration for Madhavan is evident, describing him as someone who makes others rise to his level of professionalism and dedication.

On her dynamic with Neil Nitin Mukesh, who she had worked with previously on Indu Sarkar, Kulhari spoke fondly of their camaraderie. “Neil and I have worked together before in Indu Sarkar, and I have known him since then. He’s a lovely human being. I did happen to be on set while Neil was shooting a couple of times, and it's always a pleasure to just be around him. He’s such a beautiful person, and I hope we get to act together again soon.” The warmth between the two actors is clear, and Kulhari cherishes their on-screen and off-screen relationship.

In addition to her experience working with Madhavan and Neil, Kirti revealed how Hisaab Barabar challenged her creatively. She explained, “As an actor, I prepare a lot and dive deep into my character. But what I really enjoyed in this film was the kind of comedy it offers. I have never done this style of comedy before—it's beautifully written. You know what you need to say, but the way it’s crafted makes you smile and laugh at it.” This unique approach to comedy was something Kulhari had not explored before, and it added a new layer to her acting journey.

Kulhari also credited director Ashwni Dhir for his clear vision and precision in storytelling. “He has the tonality and character in his mind so clearly that there were many times I just told him to tell me exactly how it needed to be said. Instead of sticking to my usual approach, I surrendered to his vision, and I found that incredibly refreshing. The dialogues were sharp, and I learned to deliver them with precision rather than adding extra layers. That, for me, was a rewarding takeaway from this film.”

With its gripping blend of thrill, dark humor, and drama, Hisaab Barabar offers a fresh cinematic experience. Starring Madhavan, Mukesh, and Kulhari, the film showcases stellar performances and an unpredictable storyline, making it a must-watch for fans of suspense and comedy. Now streaming exclusively on ZEE5, Hisaab Barabar promises an engaging ride for all viewers.
