Hours after Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang dismissed concerns about an AI bubble at the US-Saudi Investment Forum on Wednesday, social media erupted in celebrations, especially since the chip-making giant recently posted record third-quarter earnings. Nvidia announced revenue of $57 billion, up 62 percent year-on-year and 22 percent from the previous quarter, with data center sales hitting $51.2 billion, beating Wall Street expectations.

At the forum, when asked if there was an AI bubble, Huang took three minutes to allay fears and said that Nvidia was “unlike any other accelerator” and excels at every phase of AI. “There’s been a lot of talk about an AI bubble,” he said. “From our vantage point, we see something very different." The Nvidia CEO described the transition to generative AI as “transformational and necessary” and predicted that agentic and physical AI would be “revolutionary.”

On X, users hailed Huang’s remarks and Nvidia’s performance with memes and tributes. One viral post read: “Let this sink in—the U.S. & world economy is saved from the brink by an immigrant… Jensen Huang.” Another user wrote: “He used to clean toilets at Denny’s. Founded Nvidia at a booth there. Now worth $160 billion and holding up the global economy.”

Several posts celebrated Huang’s immigrant story and Nvidia’s role in stabilising markets after weeks of volatility. Some users joked that by calming fears of an AI bubble, Huang had “saved Christmas.” Others shared memes portraying him as a superhero for investors.

Nvidia’s blowout quarter comes amid investor anxiety about an overheated AI sector. Wednesday’s results, however, reassured markets, with global shares rising.
