Smriti Mandhana and Palaash Muchhal’s wedding celebrations have officially begun, marking the start of one of the most talked-about events of the year. Fresh visuals from Indore show the Muchhal family hosting the first round of pre-wedding rituals, while a viral wedding invite has all but confirmed the big day: 23 November.

The groom was seen stepping out in a cream kurta, greeting relatives and posing for pictures as dhols played and guests gathered outside the Muchhal residence. The atmosphere already feels like a full-scale wedding house, with garlands, music, and relatives flying in ahead of the ceremonies. Fans online were quick to identify the occasion as the first pre-wedding function.

Adding to the buzz, a beautifully framed wedding invitation surfaced on Instagram, revealing key details about the ceremony. The invite introduces Smriti as the granddaughter of Babluji Mandhana and late Bhagirathi Devi Mandhana, and the daughter of Shrinivas and Smita Mandhana. It further confirms Palaash as the grandson of Radheshyam and Kamla Muchhal, and the son of Rajkumar and Anita Muchhal.

According to the card, the wedding will take place on 23 November, with celebrations expected across Sangli and Indore. Sangli, Smriti’s hometown, is already preparing for the influx of guests, while Indore has begun hosting the initial events on the groom’s side. Hotels in both cities are reportedly filling up quickly, and local vendors say bookings for decor, flowers, and travel have been underway for weeks.

Smriti and Palaash’s relationship has long been admired for its sincerity and quiet charm. After nearly five years together, the couple went public in mid-2024, sharing glimpses of their journey while keeping most of their personal life away from the spotlight. Their bond grew stronger through shared milestones: her rise as India’s batting sensation and his steady work as a composer in films and independent music.

Now, as the pre-wedding ceremonies move into full swing, the two families are preparing for a celebration that blends tradition, intimacy, and the cultural roots that shaped both Smriti and Palaash. The guest list is expected to bring together top names from cricket, Bollywood, and the music industry, making this a rare crossover event.

Smriti Mandhana enters this new chapter just weeks after delivering India its first-ever ICC Women’s World Cup title. Her leadership and consistency defined the tournament, and the victory has reshaped how the country views women’s cricket. The wedding glow now carries the weight of a historic sporting triumph.
