The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16 began with the Fastest Finger First round, hosted by the ever-charismatic Amitabh Bachchan. The winner of this round was Satnam Singh, a school cab driver from Delhi, who secured his place in the hot seat. Satnam shared that he and his wife run a school cab service together in Delhi, where his wife manages the children, showing the teamwork in their livelihood.

The game commenced with Amitabh Bachchan presenting Satnam with the first question for Rs 1,000. The question was, “Which creature completes these two Hindi idioms: Jhooth bole _______ Kaate and _____ Chala Hans ki chaal?” Satnam correctly chose Option B) Crow, securing the first win of the game.

Satnam encountered his first challenge with the Rs 3,000 question, prompting him to use the 'Audience Poll' lifeline. The question asked, “Who among these was not a lead actor in the 2001 film Dil Chahta Hai?” Satnam selected Option A) Shah Rukh Khan, which was correct, allowing him to proceed.

The Rs 10,000 question asked about the medieval establishment known as a ‘bimaristan’. Satnam confidently chose Option B) A Hospital and continued forward. The following question was the ‘Super Sawaal’ for Rs 20,000: “Other than Karnataka, which is the only other state Kerala shares a border with?” The correct answer was Tamil Nadu, and Satnam answered it correctly, winning the power of Dugnaastra, which could potentially double his earnings.

For the Rs 20,000 question, Satnam used his second lifeline, 'Video Call A Friend,' to determine which of these places lies farther to the east than the other three. He chose Option D) Guwahati, which was the right answer. However, the Rs 40,000 question posed a greater difficulty. It asked, "Who was given the Emerging Player Award in IPL 2024?" Satnam used his 'Double Dip' lifeline, selecting both Option A) Yashasvi Jaisawal and Option D) Shivam Dube, but both were incorrect. The right answer was Nitish Kumar Reddy, bringing Satnam’s earnings down to Rs 10,000. Unfortunately, this ended his journey on the show.

After Satnam’s departure, another round of Fastest Finger First took place, with Shreem Sharma from Moga, Punjab emerging as the next contestant. Shreem introduced his companions—his mother and wife—who had come to cheer him on. During a brief interaction, Shreem revealed that he had recently married on February 14th. Amitabh Bachchan, noticing Shreem's wife’s demeanor and her beautiful earrings, made a light-hearted comment that made everyone smile.

Shreem’s mother, deeply emotional, revealed that she had been a dedicated fan of Kaun Banega Crorepati since its inception, and her son shared that he was on the show to fulfill her dream. To honor his mother's wish, Shreem undertook a rigorous 97-day fast, consuming only fruits until he made it to the hot seat. He started his fast on May 3 and had been fasting for 108 days by the time he reached the hot seat.

To break his fast, Amitabh Bachchan asked what Shreem would like to eat, and Shreem requested his mother’s aloo ke parathe. In a heartwarming moment, Amitabh Bachchan offered Shreem his favorite dessert, rasmalai, to help him break his fast.

The game began with Shreem facing his first question for Rs 1,000, which asked for the number that completes the title of the 2024 film, Kalki____ Ad. Shreem correctly chose Option A) 2898. He then praised Amitabh Bachchan’s performance in the film, sharing how he couldn’t leave the theater until the end credits finished and how the role of Ashwatthama left a lasting impact on him. The audience cheered for Big B after hearing Shreem’s heartfelt admiration.

The contestant praised Amitabh Bachchan saying, "Sir ek baat kehna chahunga, sir maine aapki ye movie dekhi hai aur mera sir hall chodne ka mann nahi kiya sir... Jab tak ki numbering khatam nahi hui maine hall nahi choda sir. Aur sir mujhe goosebumps aaye aapki performance dekh ke.. Aur ab sir aap mere liye bhagwan ki tarah ho. Sir aap ne jo role kiya ismein sir Ashwatthama ka sir itna powerful role sir... itni energy sir.”

Big B replied saying, "Jab camera on hota hai sir pata nahi na jaane kahan se energy aajaati hai, aur bus hojaata hai, pata nahi kaise?."

As the game progressed, Shreem correctly answered questions up to Rs 10,000, where he identified Lord Shiva as the deity associated with 'bhootgana' in the puranas. Shreem then tackled the Rs 20,000 question with the help of the ‘Audience Poll’ lifeline, correctly identifying that the X and Y axes on a graph form four quadrants.

Reaching the Rs 1,60,000 question, Shreem used the Dugnaastra lifeline to double his winnings by correctly identifying the Chief Minister of Assam, Hemanta Biswa Sharma, from an image on a book cover. However, when faced with the Rs 3,20,000 question about a 3 versus 3 variant sport in the Olympics, Shreem had to use both his ‘Video Call A Friend’ and ‘Double Dip’ lifelines. He ultimately guessed correctly with Option C) Basketball.

The correct answer was Times Square, New York. The episode concluded with Shreem’s departure.
