Bollywood actors Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela are currently busy shooting Anurag Basu’s upcoming yet-to-be titled project in Sikkim.

Kartik and Sreeleela, along with the filmmaker, recently met the Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang at his official residence.

The official X account of the CM has recently extended best wishes to the team. The tweet was accompanied by a photo of CM Prem Singh Tamang posing with Kartik, Sreeleela and Anurag.

Alongside the photo, the CM wrote, “It was a pleasure to meet Bollywood filmmaker Shri Anurag Basu and renowned actors Mr Kartik Aaryan and Ms. Sreeleela at my official residence, Mintokgang.”

He added in the tweet, “They have been in the state for a week, shooting their upcoming film at iconic locations such as MG Marg and Tsomgo Lake. Their work beautifully showcases our state’s stunning landscapes, rich culture, and unique architecture.”
Sikkim CM concluded the tweet by adding, “We extend our best wishes to them. @TheAaryanKartik @sreeleela14.”

Meanwhile, the filmmaker appreciated the Chief Minister’s support and thanked him for the state government’s support.

Kartik was impressed by the locals' enthusiasm and thanked the people of Sikkim for their love and support during outdoor filming. He also especially thanked the Sikkim Police for providing them security, allowing them to finish their work without any issues.

The upcoming film has yet to get an official title. Previously, the makers had to drop its initial title, Aashiqui 3, due to legal issues. Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, the film is said to feature an intense love story. The highly anticipated film is slated to hit the theatres on Diwali 2025 and also features Sreeleela in the lead role.
