Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are now officially husband and wife. After six years of dating, the couple exchanged vows in a beautiful ceremony in Venice, Italy.

Lauren marked the momentous occasion by posting the first picture from their wedding on Instagram with the simple caption, "06/27/2025," which disclosed the wedding date.

The outdoor ceremony was held on the scenic island of San Giorgio Maggiore, as confirmed by People magazine.

Following the wedding, Lauren archived all previous posts on her Instagram account, leaving only the wedding photo on display — a touching gesture symbolising a new chapter in their lives.

In a notable update, Lauren Sánchez has also adopted her husband’s surname on social media. Her Instagram handle now reads “Lauren Sánchez Bezos,” making her new identity public.

This is the second marriage for both Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez. Jeff was previously married to author and philanthropist MacKenzie Scott for 25 years, while Lauren was formerly married to talent agent Patrick Whitesell.

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon, currently ranks as the third richest person in the world, with a staggering net worth of $238 billion.

The world's elite turned Venice into a playground for their extravagant three-day celebration. A constant flow of private planes and opulent yachts entered the city's famous lagoon in the days preceding the wedding.

Businesswoman Mona Patel and socialite Natasha Poonawalla represented India at the lavish event. The couple reportedly reserved rooms at some of the city's most prestigious hotels, such as the lavish Aman Venice, to accommodate the esteemed guest list.

The Bezos-Sánchez wedding is already being hailed as one of the most glamorous and high-profile weddings of the year — a celebration that blended old-world charm with ultra-modern luxury.
