Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is all set to tie the knot with long-time partner Lauren Sánchez in an extravagant three-day celebration in Venice, Italy.

The nuptials, scheduled between June 26 and 28, are expected to host between 200 to 500 high-profile guests, including A-list celebrities, tech magnates, and political elites.

The festivities kick off on June 26 with a glamorous gala evening—described as an upscale cocktail event—at Lido de Venice.

The main wedding ceremony is slated for June 27 at the enchanting open-air Teatro Verde, situated on the scenic island of San Giorgio Maggiore. A grand farewell party will follow on June 28, wrapping up the luxurious affair.

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez got engaged in May 2023. This week, as pre-wedding activities commenced, famous guests began arriving at the opulent Gritti Palace Hotel.

Among them were Kim Kardashian, Leonardo DiCaprio, Oprah Winfrey, Bill Gates, Ivanka Trump, and Orlando Bloom. Guests received locally curated welcome gifts, including Venetian glass and traditional sweets.

Security in Venice has been significantly tightened. “It’s taking over Venice,” remarked a local resident, referring to the influx of guests, restricted zones, and the heightened media presence. Some events were relocated from original venues like the Scuola Grande della Misericordia due to safety logistics, turning parts of the city into a fortress-like setting.

Who is Jeff Bezos' fiancee Lauren Sánchez?

Lauren Sánchez, born on December 19, 1969, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is a former journalist and television personality.

A University of Southern California alumna, she started her career at KCOP-TV in Los Angeles before moving on to prominent roles at Fox News, UPN News 13, and Good Day LA. She also hosted So You Think You Can Dance and appeared in People magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful” list.

Lauren Sánchez, now also a licensed helicopter pilot, founded Black Ops Aviation in 2016—the first aerial production firm owned by a woman.

In 2025, she became one of the first female journalists to travel to space. Her 2024 children’s book The Fly Who Flew to Space was a New York Times bestseller.
