Four school boys went missing recently, after they got inspired by Lucky Baskhar and fled from their hostel.

The Tollywood film Lucky Baskhar, starring Dulquer Salmaan, has been praised for its captivating story about a common man's journey from rags to riches. However, it has unintentionally led to a concerning incident. Reports indicate that four schoolboys from Vizag have gone missing after being inspired by the film's plot.

According to reports cited by The Times of India, the boys, Charan Teja, Raghu, Karthik, and Kiran Kumar, all ninth graders living in a hostel in Maharanipet, were reportedly so captivated by Bhaskar's journey to success that they decided to follow suit in real life.

CCTV footage has gone viral, showing the boys climbing the hostel gates and passing their bags over the gate before taking turns to scale it and escape. The timestamp on the video reveals that the boys carried out their escape at approximately 6:20 am.

Concerned about their safety, the boys' parents have contacted the local police, who have registered a missing persons case. Authorities are conducting an active search, focusing on railway stations, bus terminals, and other public areas in an attempt to locate the missing students.

As per the reports, before their disappearance, the students reportedly told their friends that they would only return after earning enough money to buy cars, similar to the storyline in Lucky Bhaskar. It is believed that they had planned their escape from the hostel, and they have not been seen since.

For those unversed, Lucky Baskhar was a success at the box office and received much love and appreciation from audience and critics alike. In the film, Salmaan portrays a bank employee who becomes a billionaire through determination and ingenuity. However, the film is purely fictional and intended for entertainment purposes only.

It stars Dulquer Salmaan, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Ramki in crucial roles. Directed by Venky Atluri and produced by S. Naga Vamsi, the film is currently streaming on Netflix.
