Fans of Prime Video’s blockbuster series Fallout received a major surprise at gamescom 2025 as Amazon MGM Studios and Kilter Films unveiled the first teaser trailer for the highly anticipated second season. The announcement confirmed that the new chapter of the critically acclaimed adaptation of Bethesda’s iconic video game franchise will premiere globally on December 17, 2025, exclusively on Prime Video.
The eight-episode season will debut with a weekly rollout, culminating in a season finale on February 4, 2026. Like Season One, the show will be available in English and dubbed in multiple Indian languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, ensuring its reach to a wide global audience across more than 240 countries and territories.
Season Two will take viewers deep into the irradiated wasteland of the Mojave, introducing audiences to the neon-lit chaos of post-apocalyptic New Vegas. Picking up after the explosive Season One finale, the story will continue to follow fan-favorite characters Lucy (Ella Purnell), Maximus (Aaron Moten), and The Ghoul (Walton Goggins) as they face new dangers and moral dilemmas in a land of both opportunity and ruin.
One of the biggest reveals from the teaser trailer was the introduction of Justin Theroux as Robert House, a legendary character from the game’s lore. In addition, fans caught their first chilling glimpse of the Deathclaw, one of Fallout’s most iconic and terrifying creatures, now brought to life for the screen.

Speaking to a packed crowd of over 5,000 at gamescom, executive producer Jonathan Nolan, showrunners Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner, and cast members Purnell and Moten teased what lies ahead. They promised higher stakes, darker conflicts, and an expanded exploration of Fallout’s uniquely violent yet darkly humorous world.
The series, which premiered in April 2024, has already become a streaming phenomenon, amassing more than 100 million viewers worldwide and ranking among Prime Video’s top three most-watched titles of all time. It has also earned 17 Emmy® nominations, further cementing its place as one of television’s most successful video game adaptations.
Produced by Kilter Films in collaboration with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks, Fallout blends high-stakes survival with biting satire and a richly detailed post-apocalyptic aesthetic. With Season Two heading into New Vegas—and a third season already confirmed—fans can expect the saga to continue reshaping the landscape of genre television.
Fallout Season Two premieres December 17, 2025, only on Prime Video.
