Brad Pitt’s sports drama F1 is performing well at the box office. Directed by Joseph Kosinski, the latest film has maintained a momentum and registered a surge in footfall.
According to the trade website Sacnilk, F1 earned Rs 3.75 crore net in India on its fifth day for all languages with an overall 28.25% English occupancy. The total collection of the film now stands at Rs 28.50 crore net in India. Meanwhile, the film’s gross collection in India stands at Rs 29.75 crore.
However, the film gave strong competition to both Maa and Kannappa and their net India collections of Rs 2.85 crore and Rs 1.75 crore, respectively.
The film is also enjoying a successful run globally. Brad Pitt’s film earned Rs 1,375 crore ($160.59 million) at the worldwide box office. The film collected Rs 800 crore overseas.
F1 opened at the Indian box office with decent numbers. It earned Rs 5.5 crore net and continued the momentum, earning Rs 7.75 crore net in India, taking the toll to Rs 13.25 crore in two days.

Directed by Joseph Kosinski, the film is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and seven-time Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton. F1 also stars Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, and Javier Bardem in pivotal roles. Additionally, Lewis Hamilton has also made a special appearance in the film.
F1 revolves around the racing driver who comes back to Formula One racing after thirty years. He takes this decision to save one of his partner's teams from breaking up.
