Dragon actor Kayadu Lohar clarifies her 'fake it till you make it' comment, says "That was a fun, planned skit"

Actress and model Kayadu Lohar made headlines for her ‘fake it till you make it’ remark while promoting her latest film, Love Today, which also features Pradeep Ranganathan in the pivotal role. However, the actress has recently shed a light on her comment claiming it was a “planned skit.”

In a recent interview with Times Now, Kayadu shared, "That was a fun, planned skit by Pradeep and me to make the interview more entertaining."

She further noted, “We both decided on it together, and there was no exposing or embarrassment—just good fun! Pradeep is a great friend, and we wanted everyone to enjoy watching. So I don’t want anyone to think negatively about anything or anyone.”

For the unaware, Kayadu and Pradeep were asked to swap phones, recreating a scene from Pradeep's movie, Love Today. As Pradeep scrolled through Kayadu's phone, he noticed a meme app and asked her about it.

However, Kayadu asked her co-star to ignore it, but Pradeep and director Ashwath playfully dug deeper, discovering a self-made meme on Kayadu's phone that read "Kayadu the next big thing in Telugu cinema". The actor and the director then questioned the meme to which Kayadu responded, "Yes it's part of the PR game... fake it till you make it".

On the work front, Kayadu, who is riding on the success of her blockbuster film Dragon, is set to appear in the upcoming Tamil film, Idhayam Murali. She will play a pivotal role in the upcoming film alongside Atharvaa.
