Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty join Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan for Border 2’s third shooting schedule

The patriotic spirit is set to soar once again as the third shooting schedule of Border 2 kicks off at the prestigious National Defence Academy (NDA) in Pune. Breathing new life into one of Indian cinema’s most iconic war sagas, the sequel continues to draw attention for its powerful cast and emotionally charged storyline.

Promising newcomer Ahan Shetty and celebrated singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh have officially joined the team of veteran actor Sunny Deol and the always energetic Varun Dhawan, bringing new vitality to the group.

With each actor slated to play a distinct aspect of bravery and fraternity on the battlefield, their inclusion represents an exciting extension of the story.

The film is helmed by renowned director Anurag Singh, best known for his work on films like Kesari, and is being mounted on a grand scale to match the legacy of its 1997 predecessor. With the support of a strong production team that includes JP Dutta, Nidhi Dutta, Krishan Kumar, and Bhushan Kumar, Border 2 is beginning to take shape as more than just a war movie. It is a cinematic homage to the bravery, unity, and sacrifice of Indian soldiers, as well as to their unwavering spirit.

The choice to film at the NDA, a facility that has given birth to numerous real-life heroes, gives the project realism and gravity. The setting itself demonstrates the movie's dedication to maintaining realism while presenting intensely moving scenes.
