Bougainvillea is a Malayalam crime action thriller that marks the much-anticipated return of Jyothirmayi to cinema after 11 years. Directed and written by Amal Neerad, with a screenplay co-written by Lajo Jose, the film was released worldwide on October 17, 2024.

Kunchacko Boban takes on the role of Dr. Royce Thomas, while Fahadh Faasil portrays ACP David Koshy IPS, a police officer determined to unravel the mystery. Jyothirmayi, in her comeback role, plays Reethu Thomas, delivering a powerful performance that anchors the narrative.
