Veteran actress Shabana Azmi recently extended her congratulations to actor Arbaaz Khan, who has welcomed a daughter with his wife, Sshura Khan.

To share her joy, Shabana posted a picture featuring herself, Javed Akhtar, and a beaming Arbaaz Khan, who was seen smiling as he cut a cake.

Along with the photograph, she wrote a heartfelt caption: “Congratulations #Arbaaz Khan on the arrival of #Sipaara. Warning: She will make you dance around her fingers. That’s the birthright of a daughter.”

Arbaaz Khan and Sshura Khan became parents to their first child together, a baby girl, on October 5, 2025. A few days later, on October 8, the couple revealed that they had decided to name their little bundle of joy Sipaara.

They shared the name through a joint post on social media with the caption “Alhamdulillah,” followed by a red heart emoji, expressing their gratitude and happiness.

Rumors about Sshura Khan’s pregnancy had been circulating since June, and the couple confirmed the news when Arbaaz spoke to the media during a press interaction, putting an end to the speculation.

The couple threw a lavish baby shower to celebrate the impending birth of their child. Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, their mother Sushila Charak, Arhaan Khan, and other members of the Khan family attended the event, which was a star-studded affair.

Arbaaz was previously married to Malaika Arora, with whom he shares a son, Arhaan Khan. With the arrival of Sipaara, Arbaaz now has a daughter and has expressed immense joy and excitement at welcoming his second child.

Arbaaz Khan and Sshura Khan first met on the sets of the 2024 film Patna Shukla, where Sshura was working as the makeup artist for the leading lady, Raveena Tandon. Their professional association eventually turned into a personal relationship, and after falling in love, they got married in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai in December 2023.
