Adnaan Shaikh has finally addressed the controversy surrounding him, breaking his silence after his sister filed an FIR against him for allegedly beating her.

In a video statement, Adnaan stated, “Hi everyone, toh main dekh raha hoon ki teen chaar din se kuch rumors phail rahe hain aur main inn sab par reply karna munasib nahi samjha. Par fir PR waale usi cheez ko uthaa ke daal rahe hai, kyunki Adnaan ki shaadi bahut hype mei thi aur bahut logo ke nazron mei yeh khatke, especially kuch jo apne purane jo the unn logon ke.” (So, I have been seeing that some rumors are being spread for the last 3-4 days, and I did not think it appropriate to reply to all of them. But then the PR people brought up the same thing because my wedding was under a lot of hype, and many didn’t like it, especially my old acquaintances.)

Adnaan said fake FIR complaints are being spread, while expressing his trust in the Mumbai police and the Indian legal system. He confidently stated, “Sahi time par jo galat hai woh bars ke peeche rahega (Whoever will be wrong will end up being behind bars).” He concluded by assuring that the truth would soon come to light and that there was nothing to be concerned about.

For those unaware, Adnaan Shaikh has been in the news recently after marrying his long-time girlfriend, Ayesha. However, he now faces legal trouble after his sister filed a complaint against him, accusing him of assault. While she has alleged that Adnaan physically harmed her, the specifics of their dispute remain vague.

Adding fuel to the controversy, a short video has gone viral on X (formerly Twitter). In the video, Adnaan’s sister is seen standing outside the Bangur Nagar police station in Goregaon, where she explains that she filed an FIR against her brother, who gained fame as a contestant on Bigg Boss OTT 3. In the video, she says, “Main aayi thi Bangur Nagar police station apne bhai ke khilaaf complain karne. Usne mujhe mara tha. Thodi jadhojahad karne ke baad, finally aaj meri FIR le li gayi hai.” (I came to Bangur Nagar police station to register a complaint against my brother. He thrashed me. After some struggle, my FIR has finally been lodged.)

According to media reports, Adnaan’s sister sought help from activist Furkhan Shaikh, who also appears in the video. Furkhan explained that she approached him after recounting her ordeal. Initially, he advised resolving the matter privately, suggesting that family disputes should be handled internally. However, after understanding the gravity of the situation, he accompanied Adnaan’s sister to the police station, where the FIR was officially filed.
