Ashnoor Kaur may be one of the youngest contestants of Bigg Boss 19, but she seems to be the wisest when it comes to looking after her health, using natural cures to treat gut issues. The actress recently revealed on the show a drink she consumes in the morning to stay healthy.

In a recent episode, co-contestant Awez Darbar asked Ashnoor what she was sipping on early in the morning. Ashnoor replied that it was a mix of aloe vera gel, nutmeg, and ginger. She added it was for treating her bloating issues, hormonal imbalance, and acne.

Benefits of the Ingredients:

One of the first ingredients Ashnoor mentioned was aloe vera, which is known to have laxative properties. According to a study published in the Indian Journal of Dermatology, aloe vera helps relieve constipation by making bowel movements easier and quicker. It additionally aids digestion, helps restore hormonal imbalance, and its anti-inflammatory properties are considered beneficial for acne treatment.

Next on the list was nutmeg, which helps reduce inflammation and improves digestion, thus helping with issues like gas and bloating. Its antimicrobial properties help with skin breakouts and managing acne in the long run. Nutmeg is also beneficial for women as it helps stablise hormonal imbalances and regulate menstrual cycle.

Lastly, ginger is known to contain compounds like gingerol, which boost immunity and help reduce bloating, acidity, and indigestion. Reportedly, ginger also relieves menstrual cramps, soothes the stomach, and protects cardiovascular health.

While Ashnoor makes a concoction of these nutrition-packed ingredients, they can also be consumed separately in a variety of ways. However, it’s best to check with a doctor before incorporating them into your diet to be doubly sure.
