Manchu Manoj Kumar and Nara Rohit starrer Bhairavam received decent reviews from the fans, especially for the actors’ comic timing and strong performances. However, the film also received a similar reception at the box office on its first day.
According to early estimates by Sacnilk, Bhairavam grossed around Rs 2.75 crore net in India on Friday, May 30, 2025. The film witnessed an overall 26.70% Telugu Occupancy on its first day.
Meanwhile, Bhairavam had a modest start in the US. To generate continued buzz, the makers are planning special promotional activities post-release in the country.
With no major Telugu releases this week, Bhairavam is poised to further better its box office performance over the weekend.
For the unversed, Bhairavam is the official remake of the Tamil hit Garudan. The film features Manchu Manoj, Nara Rohith, and Bellamkonda Srinivas in lead roles. Directed by Naandhi fame filmmaker Vijay Kanakamedala, the film is produced by K.K. Radhamohan under the Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner and presented by Dr. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios.
The film marks the Telugu debut of Aditi Shankar, the daughter of the great director Shankar. Additionally, Manchu Manoj makes a major comeback to films after nine long years of break. Divya Pillai, Vennela Kishore, and Ajay star in supporting roles. Sricharan Pakala composed the music for this film.
