Anushka Sharma marked Father’s Day with a touching tribute on Instagram, dedicating the post to both her father Ajay Sharma and husband Virat Kohli. What truly melted hearts, however, was a sweet handwritten letter by their daughter Vamika for her dad, which became the highlight of the post.
She posted two pictures, the first of which showed her father having a good time at a celebration wearing headphones. The second was particularly adorable, displaying Vamika's heartfelt note to Virat, which in the most innocent way encapsulated a daughter's love for her father.
The letter read, "He looks like my brother. He is funny. He tickles me. I play make up with him. I love him so much and he loves me this much (arms wide.)" Happy Father's Day."
Anushka wrote in the caption, "To the first man I ever loved—and the first man our daughter did …. Happy Father’s Day to all the beautiful fathers everywhere."

After dating for a few years, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli got married in 2018. They are now proud parents to a daughter named Vamika (2021) and a son named Akaay (2024). The couple has made a conscious effort to protect their children's privacy, adamantly asking the press and paparazzi to not take or publish pictures of their children.
