Anil Kapoor recently took to social media to reflect on the enduring legacy of Slumdog Millionaire, sharing a picture from the film with a heartfelt caption, "On the 12th of November, 16 years back, ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ released in North America and spread like wildfire all over the planet... how time flies. This film keeps on giving, not only enriching my life with cherished relationships but also, in a rare way, continuing to provide financially. In today’s world, that’s something special. Anil Kapoor’s portrayal of Prem Kumar, the charismatic yet sinister antagonist in Slumdog Millionaire, marked a pivotal moment in his career, demonstrating his talent for portraying complex characters.

The film also triumphed at the BAFTA Awards, Critics' Choice Awards, and Golden Globes, securing its place in cinematic history. A standout performance came from Anil Kapoor, whose portrayal of the charismatic game show host Prem Kumar earned widespread critical acclaim.
