Aamir Khan was recently honoured at the Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia, where he was asked about the prospect of reuniting with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan on screen. Aamir confirmed that he has had discussions with both SRK and Salman about the idea, and the three of them are eagerly awaiting the right script to make this much-anticipated collaboration happen.
Aamir Khan shared that he had discussed the idea of collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan about six months ago.
While speaking at the Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia, he said, “About six months back, Shah Rukh, Salman and I were together and we did speak about this. I was the person who brought this up and told Shah Rukh and Salman that it would be really sad if the three of us didn’t do a film together. I think Salman and Shah Rukh were equally in agreement and were, ‘Yes, we must do a film together. The three of us’. Hopefully, it will happen soon. It will need the right kind of story. So, we’ll have to wait for the right script. We are all looking forward to it."
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan have shared the screen in several films, including Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam, Tubelight, Zero, Pathaan, and Tiger 3. They are also set to reunite in the upcoming film Tiger Vs Pathaan. On the other hand, Aamir Khan last worked with Salman Khan in the cult classic Andaz Apna Apna.
On the work front, Aamir was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, the remake of Hollywood film Forrest Gump.
