Some of the key seats that will be keenly observed in this phase are Mainpuri, Badaun, Agra, Hathras, Etah and Aonla.

In Mainpuri, which is a stronghold of the Samajwadi Party (SP), Dimple Yadav (SP candidate and wife of former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav) will face Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s Jaiveer Singh and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP)'s Shiv Prasad Yadav.

Dimple Yadav won Mainpuri seat in the 2022 Lok Sabha bypoll after it was vacated following the death of SP patriarch and her father-in-law Mulayam Singh Yadav.

In Agra, BJP has fielded Satyapal Singh Baghel while SP and BSP have named Suresh Chandra Kardam and Pooja Amrohi respectively.

Dharmendra Kashyap from BJP, SP's Neeraj Maurya and BSP's Abid Ali are the key candidates in fray for the Lok Sabha elections in Aonla. Kashyap had emerged victorious from the seat in the 2019 election securing a total of 5,37,675 votes.

In Badaun, BJP's Durvijay Singh Shakya has been fielded against SP leader Shivpal Yadav's son Aditya Yadav and BSP's Muslim Khan. SP had won the Badaun Lok Sabha seat in 2014 but lost it to the BJP in 2019. The party, led by former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav, is eyeing to reclaim the seat.

In the electoral battle of Hathras, Uttar Pradesh Revenue Minister Anoop Balmiki is BJP's contestant and his principal opponent is SP's Jasveer Valmiki. BSP, meanwhile, has fielded Hembabu Dhangar.

The key candidates in UP's Etah are Rajveer Singh from BJP and Devesh Shakya from SP.
