For this year's Assam Higher Secondary Examination, the authorities have decided to eliminate the provision of assigning ranks to students, marking a significant change in the evaluation process.

In this year's Assam 12th results for the commerce stream, out of the 17,307 students who appeared, 5,915 achieved first division honors. Additionally, 6,087 students secured a pass in the second division, while 3,194 students passed in the third division, showcasing a diverse range of performances across the board.

Additionally, 17,339 students secured a second division, while 8,062 managed to pass with third division marks, showcasing a diverse range of performances among the candidates.

This year's Assam 12th Arts stream results showcase a diverse range of academic achievements. Out of the 200,495 students who appeared for the exam, 40,499 students excelled by securing first division marks. Additionally, 65,532 students achieved second division, while 72,775 students were placed in the third division. These statistics reflect the varied performance levels across the large number of candidates who participated in this year’s examination.

In the 2024 Assam Class 12th results, 89.18% of students passed in the Arts section, 89.88% in Science, and 87.80% in Commerce. The pass percentage is much better this time as compared to 2023 in all the three streams. In the year 2023, 70.12 per cent students cleared the arts stream. Last year, 84.96 per cent students cleared science stream. Also, 79.57 percent of the students passed in the commerce stream in the big year.
