The Hyundai Knight Editions have been introduced to enhance festive season sales.

Hyundai Motor India has launched three new models under its Knight Edition line-up -- the Hyundai Creta Electric Knight, the Hyundai i20 Knight and the Hyundai Alcazar Knight. With these introductions, the company now offers six Knight Edition products in India, including the Venue Knight and Exter Knight.

Since its debut in 2022, Hyundai has sold over 77,000 Knight Edition units across models. The latest additions are aimed at leveraging the rising popularity of black-themed special editions among Indian buyers.

The Hyundai Creta Electric Knight is available in two battery pack options -- a 51.4kWh unit with a claimed range of 510 km, and a 42kWh pack with a range of 420km. Both are offered in the Excellence Knight variant.

The Hyundai i20 Knight comes with a 1.2-litre petrol engine and two variants -- Sportz (O) MT and Asta (O) IVT. The model gets Knight-exclusive styling elements, including black alloy wheels, black skid plates, roof rails, and an all-black interior with brass inserts.

The Hyundai Alcazar Knight is offered with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol DCT and a 1.5-litre diesel automatic, both in the Signature 7-seater Knight variant. The SUV also introduces a new Matte Black colour option, alongside existing choices.

Variant-wise prices (ex-showroom)

Hyundai i20 Knight -- Rs 9.14 lakh to Rs 11.34 lakh

Hyundai Alcazar Knight -- Rs 21.65 lakh

Hyundai Creta Electric Knight -- Rs 21.44 lakh to Rs 24.54 lakh

Additionally, Hyundai has updated features across the i20, i20 N Line, and Alcazar. The i20 range now gets a sporty rear spoiler, dashcam, and wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, while the Alcazar Signature variants add a dashcam.

The Knight Edition expansion is aimed at enhancing volumes during the festive season, a key sales period for automakers. Hyundai's move also positions the Creta Electric Knight as a new entrant in the fast-growing mid-size electric SUV segment, where it will compete with models such as the Tata Harrier EV and MG ZS EV.
