Hero MotoCorp launches VIDA V2 range of electric scooters, price starts at Rs 96,000

Keyless entry allows riders to unlock and start the scooter with ease,eliminating the hassle of traditional keys.

Hero MotoCorp on Tuesday launched the VIDA V2 range of electric scooters. The VIDA V2 range of electric scooters will come with features like keyless entry, cruise control, re-gen braking, and custom riding modes. The VIDA V2 ensures easy charging and an impressive IDC range of up to 165 km per charge. Additionally, the swingarm-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor with 6kW of peak power and 25Nm torque according to the company.

The VIDA V2 is available in three variants –

V2 Lite at Rs 96,000
V2 Plus at Rs 115,000
V2 Pro at Rs 135,000 (Effective ex-showroom prices in Delhi less current subsidies)

The VIDA V2 comes with IP-67-rated advanced removable battery technology and is available in three configurations: 3.94 kWh (V2 Pro), 3.44 kWh (V2 Plus), and 2.2
kWh (V2 Lite). The removable battery packs can be conveniently charged at home, reaching 80% capacity in under 6 hours according to the company.

Powered by a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM), the VIDA V2 has a peak power of 6 kW and 25 Nm of torque for impressive acceleration. The electric scooter reaches 0 to 40 km/h in just 2.9 seconds*, for a thrilling ride experience and having a top-speed of 90kmph.The bike comes with four versatile riding modes - Eco, Ride, Sport, and Custom.
