5 hacks that will double the value of your resale property

It’s not easy for an investor or a second time home buyer to either sell or give their property away on rent today. There could be several reasons such as a slow market, not so great location or bad infrastructure for this hardship. Making a few changes within the house will help you get a better price despite the lull in the market. Here is how you can improve you home without actually emptying out your pocket.
Whitewash
If you think potential home buyers will be willing to purchase an old property that is decorated with old wallpaper or paint that is chipping around the corners you are wrong. Despite being a resale property, property seekers would want the house to ‘look’ new, so get the house whitewashed. Ensure you use light colors that make the house look light and airy. If you have wallpapers around a few sections then get them removed. You cannot judge the potential home buyers’ taste, so stick to the basics.
Lay fresh flooring
Floors are cited to be one of the most enduring part of the entire house but they might become outdated. If you want sell your property at double the price lay fresh floors. Do away with old mosaic floors or grained tiles and replace them with faux wood or cheap marble floors. These cheaper alternatives will be light on your pocket and they will make your house look bigger!
Remodel the kitchen

Get rid of all the old fittings and replace them with the new ones. Replace the old bathroom tiles with anti-skid ones and place new sanitary-ware. While this change might cost you a bit, a new bathroom will help you increase the value of your property by leaps and bounds.
