Samsung launches Galaxy Ring in India with AI-powered health and fitness monitoring features at Rs 38,999

Soon after announcing the pre-reserve for Galaxy Ring, Samsung finally launched it in India. Galaxy Ring is the company’s first smart ring and the major highlight is the Galaxy AI support and extensive health and fitness monitoring features. Apart from this, the Galaxy Ring is also touted as the 24/7 health and fitness device by the company.

Not only that. The introduction of Galaxy Ring also expands the entire Galaxy ecosystem as it works with Galaxy smartphones, tablets and smartwatches.

Samsung has launched in three colour options –  Titanium Black, Titanium Silver and Titanium Gold and is priced starting at Rs 38,999.

Samsung Galaxy Ring will be available for purchase via  Samsung.com, select retail stores, Amazon.in and Flipkart.com.

To make it easier for buyers to purchase the Galaxy Ring, Samsung will be offering a sizing kit that users can try and finalise their size first before making the purchase.

To make the Galaxy Ring more accessible, Samsung is offering an EMI option that starts at Rs 1,625 per month for 24 months with almost all the leading banks, Samsung Finance+ and Bajaj Finance. In addition to this, Samsung is also offering a 25W Travel adapter to customers purchasing the Galaxy Ring before October 18.

Samsung Galaxy Ring comes with Galaxy AI which brings a wide range of AI-powered features to the Galaxy Ring. For instance, users can use it to get deep sleep analysis, activity monitoring, smart suggestions and more. Samsung has also confirmed that the Galaxy Ring will be offering all the existing features without any additional subscription plan unlike some of its competitors.

Talking about health and fitness features, the Galaxy Ring offers detailed sleep analysis with Sleep score, snoring data, temperature, and other metrics to help users sleep better.

Talking about AI-powered features, the Galaxy Ring includes an Energy score that monitors physical and mental health conditions based on sleep, daily activity, sleeping heart rate and more.

Other than this, the Galaxy Ring also works with Galaxy Watches to improve the accuracy and better data analysis. Also, there’s a built-in gesture control to control several actions on the device.

Galaxy Ring works with the Health app which enables insights, auto workout detection, inactive alerts and more.

In terms of design, the Galaxy Ring is built out of Titanium Grade 5 and has 10ATM water resistance. Samsung claims that the ring can survive harsh conditions without any issues.

Samsung Galaxy Ring is claimed to deliver up to seven days of battery life and it also supports Find My Ring feature that allows users to find their ring in case it gets misplaced.
