RedMagic has officially introduced its latest gaming smartphones, the RedMagic 10S Pro and 10S Pro+, in China. These devices are the successor to the RedMagic 10 series and aim to offer high-end performance and battery life, especially for mobile gamers. One of the standout features of these devices is the inclusion of a built-in PC emulator, which RedMagic claims can run Steam and Epic Games launchers. This could revolutionise mobile gaming completely and allow users to carry entire libraries of legacy titles in their pocket.
RedMagic 10S Pro series: Price
The Red Magic 10S Pro series has a starting price of 4999 Yuan (around Rs 59,000), and the lineup includes several storage and RAM models. It also includes a Mingchao Limited Edition variant with 16GB RAM + 512GB storage, which costs 5999 Yuan (around Rs 70,800). The phones are now available for order in China, and the Mingchao Limited Edition will be available in June.
RedMagic 10S Pro series: Specifications, features
The RedMagic 10S Pro series is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Edition SoC, which offers a clock speed of up to 4.47GHz. It comes with up to 24GB of LPDDR5T RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 Pro storage. Further, the RedMagic 10s Pro and 10s Pro+ feature a 6.85-inch BOE Q9+ OLED display that offers 1.5K screen resolution, up to 144Hz refresh rate, 2000 nits peak brightness, and 2500Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate.
Both smartphones also offer 520Hz shoulder triggers, stereo speakers with DTS:X Ultra, and dual X-axis linear motors for improved haptics. In terms of optics, the devices pack a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, they come with a 16MP under-screen selfie camera. While the RedMagic 10S Pro comes with a 7050mAh battery supporting 80W fast charging, the RedMagic 10S Pro+ is backed by a 7500mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging.
Connectivity options include dual SIM support, a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, WiFi 7, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and an Infrared sensor.
