OnePlus Nord 5 Series debuts in India with big batteries, 50MP cameras, and more

OnePlus has officially unveiled its new Nord 5 lineup in India, adding fresh muscle to its mid-premium segment with the Nord 5, Nord CE 5. The OnePlus Buds 4 were also unveiled at OnePlus Summer Launch event.

OnePlus Nord 5: Key specs

The OnePlus Nord 5 gets the flagship-lite treatment this year, packing a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1,800 nits of peak brightness. It’s protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and boasts an IP65 rating, making it splash- and dust-resistant.

Under the hood, it runs the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB storage. Powering the phone is a large 6,800mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC charging included in the box.

Camera specs include a 50MP front shooter, and a rear setup of 50MP (Sony, OIS) + 8MP ultrawide. The phone supports 4K 60fps video and Ultra HDR via OxygenOS based on Android 15.

OnePlus Nord 5: Pricing

Pricing starts at Rs 31,999 (8GB+256GB), going up to Rs 37,999 (12GB+512GB). Colour options include Marble Sands, Phantom Grey, and Dry Ice.

OnePlus Nord CE 5: Key specs

Aimed at the value-conscious buyer, the Nord CE 5 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 and supports up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It features a 6.77-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Battery life is front and centre here, with a massive 7100mAh unit and 80W fast charging. On the optics front, it houses a 50MP Sony main sensor with OIS, 8MP ultrawide, and a 16MP front camera.

OnePlus Nord CE 5: Pricing

Pricing starts at Rs 24,999 and tops out at Rs 28,999. Available in Black Infinity, Marble Mist, and Nexus Blue.

OnePlus Buds 4: Features, price

Alongside the phones, OnePlus also launched the Buds 4—a feature-packed pair of TWS earbuds with dual drivers, LHDC 5.0, 3D Audio, and 47ms low-latency Game Mode. Claimed playback time hits up to 45 hours with the case.

Priced at Rs 5,999, the Buds 4 come in Zen Green and Storm Gray, with open sales starting July 9.
