Nothing has launched its latest mid-range smartphone, the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus in India today. The phone is the upgraded version of the Nothine Phone (2a), launched earlier this year. It has a better camera system, newer design, improved display, and better charging speed when compared with the Nothing Phone (2a).
Nothing Phone (2a) Plus: Price, availability
The Nothing Phone 2a Plus has been launched in two RAM and storage variants. Both variants come with 256GB storage. The base variant comes with 8GB RAM and the higher variant with 12GB RAM. The base 8GB RAM model is priced at Rs 27,999. The higher-priced 12GB RAM variant is available for Rs 29,999.
Nothing has provided an instant discount of Rs 2,000 on all bank credit and debit card transactions. However, as a part of the introductory offer, the Phone (2a) Plus will have a Rs 3,000 discount on August 7. This makes its effective starting price at Rs 24,999. It will be available in Black and Grey colours.
Nothing Phone (2a) Plus: Specs, features
The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,300 nits peak brightness. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection layered on top of the display. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro chipset, which Nothing has developed in partnership with MediaTek.
The Phone (2a) Plus has similar glyph lights as the Phone (2a). It has a 5,000mAh battery with 50W fast charging and 5W reverse wired charging support. On the software front, the Phone (2a) Plus runs Nothing OS 2.6 based on Android 14. The phone will get three years of Android updates and four years of security patches.
In terms of optics, the smartphone has a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. It also has a 50MP front camera for selfies. The Phone (2a) Plus has a dual-speaker setup and comes with IP54 certification. The smartphone also has NFC support and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
