A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead gets a confirmed launch date

The upcoming survival horror game ‘A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead’ has got a confirmed launch date. Publisher Saber Interactive revealed the launch date in a new release date trailer for the game. A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam) on October 17, 2024.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is the first video game in the 'A Quiet Place' film universe co-created by writers Bryan Wood and Scott Beck with actor and filmmaker John Krasinski. In the A Quiet Place films, we see John Krasinski and Emily Blunt's characters trying to survive with their kids in a world overrun by sightless but powerfully-built aliens with acute hearing.

Developed by Italy-based indie game studio Stormind Games, A Quiet Place The Road Ahead features an original, standalone story set in the A Quiet Place universe. In the A Quiet Place survival horror game, you play Alex, a college student suffering from asthma. A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead also features Alex’s boyfriend Martin.

The release date trailer for the game shows Alex using a torch, a signal flare and an inhaler. Alex wouldn’t live long if she did not have her inhaler with her, since her coughs can attract the attention of the sightless aliens with ultra-powerful hearing that catches the slightest of sounds.

In the game, Alex can also use an instrument that detects sounds ( a sound detector).

In A Quiet Place The Road Ahead, you should open the doors carefully, crouch, slide through confined spaces slowly, lift objects like an oil or water drum and keep them somewhere else. You can also unscrew the nuts of a grate and crawl through the grate like Batman in the Arkham series games. Try not to step on shards of glass or a soda can as the blind monsters know these sounds very well and will show up within seconds. Also, do not kick on any object because that will also attract the blind aliens.

A Quiet Place The Road Ahead: Surviving in silence

Based on the story trailer of A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, we assume that the horror game’s story will start from Day 105 after the alien invasion. Since the denizens of planet Earth have been utterly decimated by the armoured aliens, one can expect groups of human beings to survive on some island (since the blind aliens can’t swim and the humans get to know this soon).
