In contrast, Divya Deshmukh has been steadily climbing the ranks. Despite two losses, she has earned three draws and scored impressive victories over higher-rated opponents Bassem Amin of Egypt and Velimir Ivic from Serbia. With 3.5 points, she is currently placed ahead of Gukesh in the standings.
