Chahal didn't feature in the list of 30 names listed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), who were offered an annual contract for the 2023-2024 calendar. However, the year before Chahal was listed in Grade C category, which saw him withdraw an annual salary of Rs 1 crore.
