Former India opener Shikhar Dhawan grabbed plenty eyeballs with his appearance in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Dhawan, who is the official ambassador of this edition of the marquee event, was present for India's encounter against Bangladesh in Dubai, which the Men In Blue won by six wickets. Dhawan also met with Team India players, a video of which is available on his Instagram handle.
In the video Dhawan can be seen grooving with former teammate Virat Kohli and shared a light moment with ex-opening partner Rohit Sharma. However, the video will certainly leave Indian fans delighted, it is something else that has kept Dhawan buzzing on social media.

As per multiple reports, the mystery girl seated beside Dhawan was Sophie Shine, who hails from Ireland. Interestingly, Dhawan also follows Shine on Instagram but there is nothing official on the relationship the two share.
Dhawan has had a troubled love life previously and his marriage with Aesha Mukherji ended in divorce in October 2023. The cricketer also lost the custody of his son Zoraver and in a recent podcast on ANI had opened up about being separated from him. The former India opener in the podcast revealed that he has been blocked from any communication with his son.
"It has been two years since I've seen my son, one year since I last spoke to him because I'm blocked from everywhere. It has been difficult, but you learn to live with it. I miss him and speak to him spiritually," he said.
Dhawan, who announced his retirement from all forms of cricket in August 2024, also mentioned how he tries to converse with his son through affirmations.
“I feel through affirmations that I'm conversing with him every day, hugging him. I put my energy into it spiritually. It is the only way I can bring back my son. My sadness won't help. I manifest,” Dhawan expressed.
