The 71st National Film Awards were held on September 23, 2025, at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. One of the several highlights during the event was the youngest National Award winner, Treesha Thosar's adorable interaction with none other than Shah Rukh Khan.
Shah Rukh Khan received his first-ever National Award for Best Actor for his performance in the film Jawan, and the 4-year-old Treesha won the award for Naal 2 as the Best Child Artist.

Shah Rukh’s win for Jawan was a career milestone, and Vikrant Massey also made headlines as 12th Fail was awarded Best Feature Film. Rani Mukerji took home the Best Actress award for her performance in Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway.
