Ruturaj Gaikwad is one of India's most promising cricketers and plies his trade for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL). Such has been his impact with the Yellow Army that Gaikwad was elevated as the skipper of the franchise in the previous season. He was also among the five retentions that CSK made ahead of the mega auction held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia last month.
While fans are yet to see the fun side of Gaikwad on the field, but he surely delivered a classic while attending the INFYusion event hosted by Infosys in Bengaluru. Gaikwad after being asked to open the show struggled with his microphone, forcing the presenter to address the issue with humour. What came next was unexpected and left the room bursting in laugh.

Adding more flavour to the humour, Gaikwad quipped "might be someone from RCB (Royal Challengers Bengaluru)" as the person behind the technical failure. The video didn't take long to go viral on social media, given the rivalry the two franchise have shared over the years. Here is the video:

CSK vs RCB rivalry in IPL
While CSK have lifted the IPL trophy five times, RCB are yet to win the tournament since its inception in 2008. Despite that RCB enjoys one of the most loyal fanbase across India. The two teams have met 33 times and Chennai have been the dominant between the two, registering 21 wins. RCB, on the other hand, have emerged victorious on eleven occasions, while one contest produced no result.
The last time the two sides met it had led to dramatic scenes on the field as RCB eliminated CSK from the playoffs race. The victory sparked wild celebrations and emotions were understandable. The team made a miraculous comeback and registered six wins on the trot, which saw them rise from bottom of the points table to qualify for the playoffs. This led to wild celebrations in the RCB camp and on the field, following which CSK great MS Dhoni left the field without shaking hands with the opposition players.
