BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia has confirmed to PTI that the board will follow every uniform-related ICC rule during Champions Trophy 2025. Earlier, reports suggested that BCCI have rejected to print Pakistan's name on the official jersey of the Indian cricket team but Saikia has cleared all the air around the rumours. The Champions Trophy will begin from February 19. India will play all their games in Dubai after citing security concerns as reason to not to travel to Pakistan for the ICC event.
"BCCI will follow every uniform-related ICC rule during Champions Trophy," Saikia told PTI.

"Whatever the other teams will do regarding the logo and dress code, we are going to follow in true letter and spirit," he added.
As per the rules, India would violate ICC's official dress code if they refuse to wear the official logo with host Pakistan's name of the jersey. Pakistan are the hosts for the mega ICC event and they will have their name beneath the Champions Trophy 2025 logo. However, Pakistan even being the host of the tournament will travel to Dubai to play one of their league stage game. On February 23, India and Pakistan will clash at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
India's group stage matches in Dubai are scheduled as follows: against Bangladesh on February 20, Pakistan on February 23, and New Zealand on March 2. Should India advance to the semi-finals and final, they will play two more matches at the Dubai Stadium, including the tournament's final. Earlier, BCCI did not change their stance over the refusal to send India cricket team to Pakistan for the event despite some major efforts by the Pakistan Cricket Board. In the end, Pakistan board had to agree to India's conditions.
