Alleged ‘Donkey’ flight released from France lands in Mumbai, 27 stay back

When this Airbus A340 flight landed in France, there were 303 Indian passengers on board. But when the flight took off for Mumbai after a 4-day detention, there were only 276 passengers. This is because 27 people expressed their wish to stay back there on grounds of asylum. While the flight was detained for an alleged human trafficking probe, what raised eyebrows was the final destination, Nicaragua. Here’s why!
