One of the busiest weekends of this year so far, there are close to 10 films and shows releasing on platforms like Netflix, AppleTV +, Zee5 and others. There’s action, comedy, drama, suspense, and more to get you hooked to the small screen as March begins. Check out what to watch on March 1.

Maamla Legal Hai

March 1, Netflix

Starring Ravi Kishan, Nidhi Bisht, Yashpal Sharma, Naila Grewal and others, this series has been created by Sameer Saxena. Set in the district court of Patparganj, New Delhi, this comedy drama is about a group of advocates and legal staffers.

The Completely Made-Up Adventures Of Dick Turpin

March 1, Apple TV+

Here's why this one should be on your binge list for this weekend: A fictional period drama, The Completely Made-Up Adventures Of Dick Turpin tells you the fabled tales of highway robber Dick Turpin and if you’ve read Alfred Noyes’ The Ballad of Dick Turpin, you will have a fair idea of this drama.

Somebody Feed Phil: Season 7

March 1, Netflix

Philip Rosenthal, known for the sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond, has come up with the seventh season of this new travel and food show. He will explore Mumbai, Dubai, Kyoto, and many other locations in search of delicious local food in the new season.

Sunflower Season 2

March 1, Zee5

Sonu (Sunil Grover) is the prime suspect in a murder case in Sunflower Society - again. The second season of this series has some solid performers, including Adah Sharma, Ashish Vidhyarthi, Ranvir Shorey, and Radhika Bhatt.

Napoleon

March 1 Apple TV+

Ridley Scott’s period drama starring Joaquin Phoenix and Vanessa Kirby in lead roles, is based on Napoleon Bonaparte’s life. The one-time French emperor fought hard to rise to this position of power. This film is about his life as a military commander and his tumultuous relationship with Empress Joséphine.

Shogun

First episode: February 27, Disney + Hotstar

Based on the 1975 novel by James Clavell, Shogun is set in 17th century Japan. An English sailor shipwrecked in Japan must learn quickly and navigate deftly the political minefield he finds himself on.
