Plus, Friday release Khichdi 2 has taken a fair start of Rs 1.10 crore - with over 50 percent of the box office collections coming from Gujarat.

Tiger 3 has entered the 200 Crore Club and it's now the 35th Hindi release to do that. If one counts only Bollywood films (and leaves aside the dubbed Hindi versions of Baahubali: The Conclusion, KGF: Chapter 2 and RRR, then it's 32nd film to achieve this feat.

It has taken six days for this 'spy universe' installment to reach here and while Rs 250 crore mark should be crossed in quick time and Rs 275 crore in lifetime earnings is also a possibility, Rs 300 crore from theatre shows would be a challenge for the film. If it manages to actually reach there as well, then it would be among an elite set of just 12 entries so far.

This is the complete list of all the films which have gone past the Rs 200 croreg mark, along with their lifetime collections:

Jawan - Rs 644 crore

Pathaan - Rs 543.05 crore

Gadar 2 - Rs 525.45 crore

Baahubali - The Conclusion (Hindi) - Rs 511 crore

KGF: Chapter 2 (Hindi) - Rs 434.70 crore

Dangal - Rs 387.38 crore

Sanju - Rs 342.53 crore

PK - Rs 340.80 crore

Tiger Zinda Hai - Rs 339.25 crore

Bajrangi Bhaijaan - Rs 321 crore

War - Rs 318 crore

Padmaavat - Rs 302.15 crore

Sultan - Rs 301.50 crore

Dhoom: 3 - Rs 284 crore

Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior - Rs 280 crore

Kabir Singh - Rs 278.24 crore

RRR [Hindi] - Rs 274.31 crore

Brahmastra - Rs 264 crore

The Kashmir Files - Rs 253 crore

Uri - The Surgical Strike - Rs 245.36 crore

Krrish 3 - Rs 244.92 crore

The Kerala Story - Rs 242.20 crore

Drishyam 2 - Rs 241 crore

Simmba - Rs 240.31 crore

Kick - Rs 232 crore

Chennai Express - Rs 227 crore

Bharat - Rs 211.07 crore

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo - Rs 210 crore

Housefull 4 - Rs 208.50 crore

Golmaal Again - Rs 205.70 crore

Good Newwz - Rs 205.14 crore

Happy New Year - Rs 205 crore

Mission Mangal - Rs 203 crore

3 Idiots - Rs 202.95 crore

Tiger 3 - Rs 201.50 crore* (6 days, in India alone)

What's all the more remarkable is that Salman Khan has quite a history when it comes to finding entry in the 200 crore-plus list. He has as many as seven films in this club, right from Tiger Zinda Hai, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan in the 300 Crore Club, followed by Kick, Bharat, n and now Tiger 3. His newest release will go past the lifetime score of all these double century makers, to eventually challenge the likes of RRR [Hindi], Kabir Singh and Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior.

Meanwhile, Friday release Khichdi 2: Mission Paanthukistan, or Khichdi 2, has taken a fair start of Rs 1.10 crore. There weren't many expectations from this small film to begin with, especially so since it has seen a minuscule release. However, it was comparatively more prominent in Gujarat, considering the local flavour and a predominantly Gujarati cast (including Supriya Pathak and Pratik Gandhi). No wonder, more than 50 percent of the collections have come from this state. This comedy based on a TV show would now be aiming for a lifetime score of over Rs 10 crore and that would be a decent enough number considering the film's scale and size.
