The man accused of molesting two Australian women cricketers in Indore broke his hand and foot while trying to flee police, News 18 reported. A video circulating on social media shows Khan limping in police custody, with a cast on his leg and arm.
Aqeel Khan, 29, was arrested on October 23 after allegedly stalking and molesting two Australian players near their hotel. According to a police complaint, Khan approached the cricketers on a motorcycle, tried to grab one of them, fled, then returned to grope the other before escaping again.
The players alerted their team’s security head, Danny Simmons, who informed local police. Officers from five police stations launched a manhunt, scanning CCTV footage to identify Khan’s motorcycle. During the chase through narrow lanes, Khan lost control of his bike and crashed, fracturing his left hand and right leg.

Police said Khan, also known as Nitra, is a habitual offender with at least 10 cases against him, including molestation, robbery, assault, and attempted murder. He was recently released from Bhairavgarh jail after serving a 10-year sentence.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Rajesh Dandotiya confirmed Khan’s criminal record, noting that he has committed offences while out on bail or parole. In one case, he allegedly attacked a couple with a knife and tried to molest the woman. In another, he reportedly snatched rifles from police in Ujjain and attempted to open fire.
