Modern smartphones have come a long way. From 512 MB storage to 64 GB being the norm, single core sluggish processors to octa and deca core processors—the mobile phone technology has evolved itself at an astonishing pace.

However, there is one problem which we have not been able to solve is the battery. The basic phones of yesteryears could run for multiple days (Nokia 3310, anyone!) without requiring a charge, today if our smartphone’s battery manages to run for a day, we are thankful.

Fortunately, a little known Chinese phone may have a solution to this. Blackview P10000 Pro packs a battery which would make even the most expensive phones in the market to cover their faces—a whopping 11,000 mAh. The company claims that the phone can last up to 50 days on standby.

Comparatively, it has got six-times the juice available in standard Apple iPhone 8. It is as big as some of the power banks and laptops available in the market.

Though, technically, the actual capacity of a battery cannot be measured just by the milliampere-hour stuffed at phone’s back as how the processor optimises the battery (among others) also come into play but still, 11,000 mAh is no joke.

To refill the juice, the phone comes with 5V/5A fast charger which can completely recharge the battery in mere two hours and 25 minutes.

Besides the battery, the phone packs a power punch in other departments as well. It carries Mediatek MTK6763 SoC which is an octa-core processor clocking 2 GHz.

The phone also bundles 5.99-inch FHD screen, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a quad-camera setup—13MP and 0.3MP snappers at the front and 16MP and 0.3MP cameras at the rear. Though, what exactly is the purpose of 0.3MP cameras is a secret, as it certainly does not make sense.

The phone is priced at USD 197.79 in the US, that would translate into approximately Rs 12,860.
