Smartphone maker Xiaomi has expanded its smartphone portfolio with the launch of its flagship camera-focused Xiaomi 14 series which comprises two new devices — Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Both these phones are developed in co-ordination with German camera-maker Leica.
The company will only bring its Xiaomi 14 smartphone to the Indian market, and is expected to price it at around Rs 75,000 to compete with Samsung, Apple, and OnePlus.
It will launch the Xiaomi 14 smartphone on March 7 in India.
Both the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform and feature the Leica Summilux lens and HyperOS custom skin out of the box.
Xiaomi 14 flaunts a 6.36-inch 1.5K C8 LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 3000 nits max brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It features a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor and a 50MP telephoto sensor. It also has a 32MP camera on the front.
Xiaomi 14 features a 4,610mAh battery with 90W fast charging and 50W wireless charging support.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra, on the other hand, has a large 6.73-inch QHD+ LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 3200 x 1440 pixels resolution, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 3000 nits peak brightness.
The 14 Ultra comes with a 50MP Sony LYT900 main camera, a 50MP Sony IMX858 telephoto zoom lens, a 50MP Sony IMX858 telephoto zoom lens, and a 50MP ultrawide shooter. It has a 32MP camera on the front.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra comes with a 5,300mAh battery with 90W wired charging and 80W wireless charging support.
