Kim, together with members of the governing party, administration, and military, reportedly boarded his private train on Sunday afternoon and was headed for Russia, according to North Korea's official Korean Central News Agency.

According to the Russian TASS news agency, Putin landed in the eastern city of Vladivostok on Monday for a three-day international conference.
