For example, while the main headlamp clusters remain the same, in split setup, the LED DRL spans the width of the nose. This bar is also capable of displaying the charging status of the car. The bumper lower down, too, has been tweaked and sealed off, compared to the mesh-like pattern on the ICE Nexon. (Image: Tata Motors)

In profile, the vehicles look identical with the same 16-inch alloy wheel design, slender accent line, and pronounced wheel arches on the plastic cladding. At the rear, things change up slightly again. The full-width light bar remains along with the lowered reverse lights, but the faux skid plate on the bumper has been tweaked. Finally, the .ev badge on the tailgate signifies the electric nature of this Nexon. (Image: Tata Motors)

Both variants get a second-generation permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) that’s 20 kg lighter than before. The power output for both is the same as the erstwhile EV version, at 129 hp for the MR and 145 for the LR variant. However, torque output has gone down in both cars to 215 Nm. This is 30 Nm and 38 lower than it was earlier for the MR and LR, respectively. (Image: Tata Motors)

On the inside, things are different from the pre-facelift EV but similar to the facelifted ICE counterpart. The dashboard gets a new layered design with leather inserts and carbon-fibre like trim. A 10.25-inch touchscreen display floats in the centre, and the instrument panel is an all-digital affair complete with the ability to display the map for navigation. The steering wheel is the same two-spoke unit with a screen in the centre that displays the Tata Motors logo. (Image: Tata Motors)
